Ambedkar University Delhi to hold special admission drive for vacant UG, PG seats in September

For candidates who did not take CUET, merit will be prepared on the basis of marks or grades obtained in the last qualifying examination -- class 12 for UG programmes and an undergraduate degree for PG courses, it said.

The notice does not mean that all course are reverting to Class 12-based admissions. The Class 12 merit route is limited to the specific courses and colleges listed in the notice, and only for those candidates who have not yet taken admission to any college in DU.

Candidates allotted seats in the first round have until 11.59 pm on Saturday to accept their allocations. Colleges will continue verifying applications, after which candidates will complete the fee payment process. The new academic session is scheduled to commence on July 28.

According to DU, the over-allocation strategy has been used only for colleges and courses where seats usually remain vacant after multiple admission rounds. However, no extra allocations were made for high-demand colleges or programmes.
