From the day I started working with WebSockets(years back), I always felt we were just scratching the surface. It’s like having a spaceship but using it to commute to the grocery store. We built powerful front-end frameworks—React, Angular, Vue—but something always felt missing. Real interactivity. True real-time experiences. Instead, we kept relying on endless HTTP calls for updates, making things sluggish and inefficient Recently I have started following and learning a framework called Phoenix which is a websocket based framewor.
