Low-code without quality..........is just chaos with a prettier UI. We just opened the Chamber of Secrets on TIBCO BusinessWorks and let’s just say, code quality remains the only real moat in a low-code world. Here’s your Q4 reminder: flashy tools don’t save your business. Clean code does. Read it here: https://zurl.co/IHCbO

Moving integrations from custom scripts to UI-based flows empowered teams to deliver faster and with more confidence. In addition to AI capabilities, the next evolution is taking shape. We’ve begun treating those same visual flows as code - connecting the intuitive design of visual tools with the discipline of modern engineering: Git, pull requests, pipelines. Trendsetters like Apache NiFi 2.x, MuleSoft Anypoint, n8n, and others are leading this shift toward an Everything as Code model - and I couldn’t be happier to see it.

💡 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐏𝐞𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐲 𝐖𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐔𝐈𝐬 In older versions of Pega — especially before Constellation — the property and the UI control used to display or capture its value were treated as two separate entities. For example, if you defined a property called 𝐀𝐠𝐞, you had to manually create a section, drag a Text Input control into it, and then configure it to use the Age property. For a simple task like capturing an age, you were performing two separate steps and linking them together — a process that was both time-consuming and repetitive. With 𝐏𝐞𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, this approach has been completely streamlined. Now, you simply define a field within your Case Type, set its data type (for example, Integer), and that’s it — the system automatically associates the appropriate UI control. Wherever you use that field, Constellation intelligently renders the correct input component. This design unifies the field definition and its UI behavior, making implementation simpler, faster, and more consistent across applications. #Pega #PegaConstellation #PegaPlatform #AppStudio #LowCode #DigitalTransformation #PegaCommunity

After working on multiple system integrations, one thing that stands out is the importance of having a strong and consistent foundation behind every project. That is what led me to focus more on establishing a Project Framework (PFW), a standardized base layer that unifies best practices, architecture patterns, and reusable components. It helps ensure every solution, whether built on .NET, OutSystems, or integrated with platforms like M-Files, stays maintainable and scalable over time. Consistency may not always be visible to end users, but it is what keeps systems stable, predictable, and ready for growth. #SoftwareArchitecture #DotNet #FrameworkDesign #BestPractices #LowCode #MFiles #OutSystems #EnterpriseDevelopment

Excited to share that Snyk’s MCP Server/CLI Extension is featured in Google’s blog — one of just seven launch partners included. Developers shouldn’t have to choose between speed and security. By bringing Snyk directly into Gemini CLI, we’re helping make secure development part of every command, not an afterthought. Huge thanks to our team and to Google for creating a platform that empowers developers to build smarter and safer. https://lnkd.in/eSJC5yY5

Snyk is proud to announce our integration into the Google Gemini CLI open ecosystem as a launch partner. An AI agent is only as powerful as the security context it can access. The new Snyk extension seamlessly embeds comprehensive security capabilities directly into your development workflow. This ensures that proactive vulnerability detection and assurance occurs at code inception, eliminating friction and minimizing context switching. Together with our partners at Google, we are committed to raising the bar for secure AI development. Check out the announcement from Google Cloud below:

I'm truly intrigued by the new Gemini CLI extensions framework, which effectively functions as an integration hub. It's designed as an open ecosystem, allowing developers to connect Gemini directly to various third-party services—partners like Atlassian, Snyk, Postman, Dynatrace, Elastic, and Stripe are already integrated. The underlying "𝐖𝐇𝐘" is clear: it directly addresses a major developer pain point—context-switching. The constant bouncing between terminals, monitoring dashboards, and other tools just to complete a single task is a significant drag on productivity. This framework holds immense potential for streamlining complex SRE, DevOps, and even creative tasks, poised to be a game-changer for developer productivity. As for the "𝐇𝐎𝐖," the core idea is to transform complex, multi-step processes into a single, seamless command. This enables the creation of custom, automated workflows that span multiple tools, including Atlassian, Figma, and Harness. The true advantage isn't just about adding new commands; it's about connecting and automating entire multi-step workflows. Imagine the efficiency of triggering a build, running a security scan, and updating a ticket, all from a single prompt. You can delve deeper into the framework's details via the Google's blog post: https://lnkd.in/gX4um4pm #DeveloperExperience #CLI #Productivity #AI #Gemini #CommandLine #API #Integration #SRE #Automation #DeveloperTools #DevOps
