Enterprise Ireland has partnered with financial data and research firm PitchBook to produce a landmark report on Ireland’s enterprise software sector, and the findings are striking. Companies in the sector raised a record €364.8 million in venture capital (VC) in 2025 alone. Enterprise Ireland now ranks seventh globally among all VC investors in enterprise software by deal count, the only European investor in the global top 10. But behind the data is a deeper story – about talent, about a unique ecosystem where global tech giants and world-class indigenous companies feed and fuel each other, and about what this means for companies around the world looking for a competitive edge in enterprise technology. Phase 2 of Enterprise Ireland's New Frontiers programme done! Over the last 6 months, this programme has been so much more than a structured startup journey. It's been an incredible experience to be surrounded by a group of talented, driven founders, bouncing ideas off each other and forming connections I know will last well beyond the programme. The learnings have been invaluable, from refining how we think about our business model, to sharpening our pitch, to simply having the space to step back and think strategically about where CeolConnect is going. CeolConnect, a live music booking platform connecting venues and musicians, is in its final stages of development and we're targeting a launch in May. We're busy building out our community of venues and musicians right now, so if you're a venue owner or musician and want to be among the first on the platform, reach out, I'd love to chat!
