Learning Pool has announced the acquisition of Confirm, an AI-first people development platform. This acquisition extends Learning Pool’s focus beyond training delivery to real-world performance measurement. Building on the recent integrations of WorkStepWorkRamp, a Learning Pool company and Elucidat, Learning Pool aims to unify learning, engagement, and performance within an intelligent Talent Flywheel, an engine that turns workforce potential into measurable business results.  Benoit de la Tour, Chief Executive Officer of Learning Pool, said, "By integrating Confirm into our ecosystem, we’re giving organisations the insight to identify top contributors, close skills gaps, and make data-driven decisions that directly drive productivity and business results. Confirm transforms talent insights into actionable intelligence, helping our customers turn workforce potential into measurable growth." David Murray, Chief Executive Officer of Confirm, said, "Too many talent decisions are still based on perception, not evidence. Our platform gives leaders clear insight into who is driving real business impact. This includes the quiet contributors who rarely get the recognition they deserve, and the high-potential people whose development gaps aren't visible until it's too late. Combined with Learning Pool’s ecosystem, organisations can surface those signals early, fast-track their development, and ensure that workforce growth directly fuels organisational success.” Confirm will operate as a specialised performance intelligence division within Learning Pool, accelerating its AI-driven roadmap while leveraging Learning Pool’s resources. This expanded suite equips organisations to reduce ramp time, bridge skills gaps, and transform workforce development into a strategic business driver. The aibl take: Most talent decisions are still made on perception rather than evidence of actual impact. Quiet contributors who drive real business outcomes get overlooked. Development investment goes to people who are visible rather than people where it will have the greatest return. For mid-market people leaders, the cost of that misalignment is measurable. High-potential employees whose gaps are not visible leave before they are developed. Workforce investment gets distributed on the basis of who is in the room. The organisations that replace perception with data will make materially better talent decisions than those still relying on annual reviews and manager instinct to guide them. • We loved seeing Kirstie Greany and Molly H. visit GB Railfreight 🚂 From train driving simulators and immersive VR environments to classroom learning and assessments, it was incredible to see how digital learning is embedded across the entire frontline training experience. It was especially exciting to see how our platform supports that journey, helping deliver interactive learning, reinforce critical knowledge, and keep people skilled, safe, and supported in safety-critical roles. A huge thank you to Bradley Moore and the wider GB Railfreight team for sharing their story. 🎙️ Watch this space for the podcast episode coming soon 👀 #FrontlineLearning #DigitalLearning #WorkplaceLearning #LearningAndDevelopment #Rail

Are my kids jealous that I got to drive a train? (Well, a simulator). A huge thank you to the incredible team at GB Railfreight for having us yesterday. We came to record a podcast. We left genuinely inspired. 😍 You gave us a deep dive into how you up-skill your frontline people - from the train driving simulator to immersive VR environments to the interactive learning, and those all important assessments. It was amazing to see how the tech (and our platform) is woven through every corner of what you do, even into your classroom learning. But more than the technology, it was the people who made the day - especially Bradley Moore CDoC© PCiCr! Your warmth, passion, and dedication to training people in safety-critical roles, is incredible. It's a reminder of what great frontline learning looks like when it's done with genuine care - and a will to experiment with new approaches. Love that you are completely focused on keeping people skilled, safe, and - quite literally - on track. 🚂 🚂 🚂 We can't wait to share the podcast and your story! p.s. next time please don't put a cow on the line in the simulator 😅 🐂 Jonathan Garner, Molly H. • Day 1 at ATD 2026 is officially in the books ✅ Great conversations, packed demos, and lots of exciting discussions around how teams are rethinking onboarding, enablement, and learning in the age of AI. One of the biggest themes we kept hearing today: organizations want practical ways to help teams build confidence faster, scale readiness, and create more engaging learning experiences without adding complexity. We wrapped up the night at Prank Bar with customers, partners, and new connections from the show floor! Huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth and joined us tonight. Looking forward to another great day at Booth 1739 🚀 #ATD2026 #L&D #FrontlineLearning #ScaleUpSuccess
