What is the Dropbox Sign SMS tools add-on?
In this article
This article describes a paid feature available to Standard API and Premium Dropbox Sign API plans.
The Dropbox Sign SMS tools add-on has two features: SMS delivery and SMS authentication. SMS delivery gives you the option to send agreements out for signature via email and SMS. When using SMS delivery to send documents for signature, customers are responsible for obtaining a signer’s consent to receive text messages from Dropbox Sign. Prior to enabling this feature for their signature requests, customers must certify they have obtained such consent from all signers. SMS authentication lets you add enhanced signer authentication through SMS. Learn more about SMS authentication.
Standard API and Premium API customers can send an SMS verification code to their signers by enabling this feature in the admin console. Learn how to manage signer authentication settings for your team. The SMS tools add-on can be purchased by contacting our sales team.
