🌍✈️ #ENISA COO on the move: Key highlights from the Copenhagen visit! This week our Chief Cybersecurity and Operations Officer, Hans de Vries, visited Denmark, engaging in meetings with national authorities and key stakeholders. ➡️In the meeting with Ministeriet for Samfundssikkerhed og Beredskab and Styrelsen for Samfundssikkerhed, discussions focused on: 🔸 the recent restructuring and introduction of the role and tasks of the Ministry of Resilience and Preparedness and Danish Resilience Agency 🔸 The current implementation status of EU cyber regulation such as #NIS2 and #CRA 🔸 The Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU 2025 ➡️Next, #ENISA met with the Danish Cybersecurity Council, a public-private entity that advises the government on how to strengthen cybersecurity and contributes to knowledge sharing between authorities, businesses, and the research community, and developing cybersecurity competencies. The agenda included exchanges on enhancing value creation through ENISA’s collaboration with national actors, alongside exploring challenges and opportunities in digital sovereignty. ➡️ Concluding the visit with the meeting with the Dansk Erhverv - Digitalisering, Teknologi & Tele and IT-Branchen, Hans de Vries presented ENISA's activities to strengthen cybersecurity in EU critical infrastructure and discussed cybersecurity aspects in telecommunications. 🙏 Thank you to all involved for the insightful exchanges and the warm welcome. 🛡️ We look forward to continuing our support to Member States in strengthening cyber resilience! 📢 The 2nd #ENISA Cybersecurity Awareness Raising Conference is here! The event is taking place in in Zagreb, in collaboration with the CARNET - Croatian Academic and Research Network, and our partners the HIKS - Croatian Institute for Cyber Security and University Center for Cybersecurity at the University North. 🤖 The first part of the conference explored the role of AI in awareness raising, focusing on how we can strengthen cybersecurity awareness amidst AI driven deception, the role of sovereign AI in supporting national resilience, and the importance of a human centric approach to #CRA compliance. 📊 The second part focuses on measuring the impact of cybersecurity awareness raising activities, from the relevant metrics and assessments to the efforts at a national level. Additionally, it examines the significance of collaboration and partnership to measure change and the different measurability aspects of the effectiveness of these programs. 📌 This week, #ENISA Chief Cybersecurity and Operations Officer Hans de Vries, visited 📍 Spain to discuss the implementation of #NIS2, as well as ENISA's support to EU Member States. 🤝 During the visit, ENISA's COO met with representatives from national authorities, including the Ministerio para la Transformación Digital y de la Función Pública, the Ministerio de Defensa Español, the Ministerio del Interior, the CCN-CERT Centro Criptológico Nacional, INCIBE - Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad, the DSN-Departamento de Seguridad Nacional, the Cybersecurity Coordination Office, Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores, Unión Europea y Cooperación, as well as the Joint Cyberspace Command. 🗣️ At XIX Jornadas #STIC2025 organised by CCN-CERT, he also delivered a presentation highlighting the Agency's key work to support the implementation of the NIS2 provisions and strengthen the #cybersecurity resilience of EU's critical sectors. 🙏 Thank you for the warm welcome and we look forward to next steps!
