About us

The Women4Cyber "Mari Kert-Saint Aubyn" Foundation has been established by the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) and Guardtime to raise awareness and funds towards a gender-inclusive cybersecurity community. Unlike many digital awareness initiatives for women focusing on a wide-ranging ICT sector, the Foundation is set up to support the Women4Cyber initiative, launched by ECSO, to target the inherently complex cybersecurity field and meet the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals in Europe. 9 out of 10 speakers at cybersecurity events are men.    Women lead companies, prevent incidents, shape AI, build protection systems, and teach the next generation of specialists. But when it’s time to take the stage, they remain underrepresented.     👉 We know the problem isn’t a lack of talent. It’s a lack of visibility.     SheSpeaksCyber wants to change that with an ambitious goal: 50% women among cybersecurity speakers by 2030.    SheSpeaksCyber is a platform connecting female cybersecurity experts with event organizers around the world. Organizers, media, and other stakeholders can search for speakers by country or topic and contact them directly on LinkedIn.    So, if you are a woman in cybersecurity, join us and share your expertise through video intros and bios at shespeakscyber.org     ❗Cybersecurity isn’t defined by gender, but by competence. And competence has no gender.

  • We are delighted to announce that Annika has joined our ambassadors programme! Annika is a ball of energy, ready to take on any challenge while radiating positivity and inspiring our community. Her long-standing involvement in our initiatives made this an obvious choice. Professionally, Annika is the founder of Cybersecurity Redefined. With her experience in industry, politics and international committees, she helps shape the digital future. She stands for empathetic leadership, clear visions and sustainable impact. Her focus areas are in communication: strategic cybersecurity, digital responsibility and public awareness. And as a mother of two, she reminds us that real strength lies in collaboration, because cybersecurity starts with understanding, not encryption. Our ambassadors represent the foundation at events and beyond, actively supporting Women4Cyber’s mission. #womenincyber #Women4Cyber #w4c #W4C
