This weekend, our partner Kiprun dropped a bombshell—and we couldn't be prouder. ⚡️ Meet the Kipnext 3D, the first-ever collaboration between KIPRUN and SomethingAdded. When Kiprun set out to "democratize high-performance solutions" via their disruptive new Kipnext line, they needed a partner that could match their obsession with runner biomechanics, and do it at breakneck speed. Co-developed in less than 6 months at the Kiprun Powerhouse Innovation Hub in Shenzhen, this isn’t just another running shoe. It’s Kiprun’s first-ever foray into 3D-printed midsoles, leveraging our HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) technology. We didn't just build a midsole; we engineered a high-travel, high-energy return mechanical cushioning underfoot system. But honestly? Forget the data. Forget the engineering, the math, and the complicated equations. We take care of that. Just put on your Kipnext 3D, enjoy the run, feel the energy, and keep running... 🔮 Why this ultra-limited drop? Why in China? What sets this midsole apart from anything ever engineered? Stay tuned : we are just getting started uncovering the secrets behind this unique collaboration. Oh, and by the way? This is just the V1. In the end, we are always adding something. 🔥 KIPRUN Decathlon HP Additive Manufacturing (AM) Solutions - 3D Printing #SomethingAdded #AdditiveManufacturing #RunningInnovation #PerformanceFootwear

🚀 Innovation is no longer molded. It is printed. At Kiprun, KIPNEXT is our footwear line dedicated to breakthrough innovations. It embodies our drive to constantly deliver “what’s next” and democratize high-performance solutions so everyone can run for life. Today, we are thrilled to introduce the KIPNEXT 3D, developed in less than 6 months at our Innovation Powerhouse in Shenzhen, China. Engineered in partnership with Something Added, this shoe leverages their exclusive, pioneering 3D-printing technology and mechanical cushioning expertise. What sets it apart? Unique Running Sensations: The high-performance 3D lattice midsole is designed to capture every impact. The perfect balance of Maximum comfort and an exceptional 75% energy return. Strictly Limited Drop: Starting today, the Kipnext 3D is available exclusively in select Decathlon stores in China in highly limited quantities. This is our first foray into 3D-printed midsoles utilizing Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) technology, which we believe has the power to make running more enjoyable and inspire runners to keep running. It is just the first step of the journey, and the future of running is officially printing. More runs. More Life. SomethingAdded Decathlon

Stop over-relying on basic foam. At SomethingAdded, we don’t just print parts—we engineer how they behave using functional lattices. 🧬 By replacing solids with math-driven geometry, we dictate exactly how a product bounces, bends, or absorbs impact. The Material Edge TPA (via Evonik exclusive partnership): Peak energy return and lightweight speed. TPU: The standard for cushioning and shock absorption. PA12: For high-strength, rigid structural needs. Precision Geometry Our MJF-optimized library delivers high-rebound shapes for footwear, stable structures for cushioning comfort, and impact-ready geometries for protection. Where We Play 🏃 Athletics: Breathable, next-gen protective gear. 🦾 O&P: Personalized, biocompatible patient care. 🛰️ Engineering: High-performance Aerospace and Robotics components. Ready to out-engineer the competition? 📍 Meet our experts at RAPID + TCT Booth 3008 and let’s talk lattices. #AdditiveManufacturing #RunningInnovation #3DDesign #Rapid+TCT

On the occasion of Paris-Roubaix, proud to see this 3D-printed slide collection come to life. We didn't just craft a pair of slides. Every detail has been designed with one obsession : giving your feet the elite comfort they deserve after the toughest miles. Hyper-customized design and comfort, sole inspired by the Roubaix cobbles, lattice structure for cushioning and recovery. Additive manufacturing redefining what performance equipment can be. I had the chance to work on this project with Jimmy GANTIER, who led it from start to finish. Proud to have equipped the pro cyclists of DECATHLON CMA CGM TEAM for one of the biggest races on the calendar. cc SomethingAdded
