I hope our paths cross again on here. — Lizzie2026 Lizzie2026 (talk) 17:37, 12 May 2026 (UTC)

Concerns about Controversies section
[edit]Hello, My edits were made in good faith and were not intended as vandalism. I removed the content because I have concerns regarding the sourcing, attribution, and neutrality of the Controversies section, especially as it contains serious allegations about a living person. I will raise these concerns on the article Talk page so that other editors can review and discuss them. Thank you. Rks2050 (talk) 10:13, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- thanks for leaving a message! i'll look over it now, happy editing InRRainbows Lets chat! 10:17, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
Indians in Japan
[edit]First, I added sources from Indian governemnt. Second, I explained every edit.
It would be good if editors would keep the focus on the page. The article is about indians in Japan, not about indians in Malaysia, Singapore etc.
There's already another artcile about Japan-india relations.
India–Japan relations - Wikipedia
Everyhting about historical connections etc (if it doesn't concern migrants) should be on that page, not here.
An example of something which doesn't belong on this page as all follows here:
"Some scholars further argue that the sudden introduction of wet-rice agriculture and bronze metallurgy in Japan was catalyzed by these southern maritime routes, which moved technology from the Austroasiatic and Austronesian spheres of influence toward the Ryukyu Islands and Kyushu"
That is about a possible ancient trade route, involving Austroasiatic and Austronesians. Why it's on this page is a mystery. Please be careful not to go out of scope.
- First, all unsourced content should be removed per wiki policy. That's not up for discussion even.
- Second, The article has recently expanded beyond the scope without discussion at all. I mostlry removed things that doesn't even have anything to do with neither india nor Japan, for example parts about austronesia. Thsi doesn't even have to be discussed beforehand. And did you read that there's another article about the same topic?
- So when did the scope of the article starting to encopmas eveyrthing from spread of buddshim to other south asian cusine. And austronesian trade routes?

- i do not have anything to add beyond what @Discospinster already discussed with you. im sorry if my revert offended you, but as you yourself mentioned this could be hashed out on the talk page instead! i am just a lowly recent changes editor caught up in this now. happy editing -- InRRainbows Lets chat! 17:19, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
- Sure, I'm all for the talk page, and I posted there beforehand actually.
- Thanks, no hard feelings, just can get intense when so many editors revert my edits even though I feel it's so obvious. Most of the content I reoved was added very recently and many without soruces or about other stuff. But yes, Thank you anyway. I will take things on the talk page more carefully before. ~2026-32988-60 (talk) 17:23, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
- i understand, however the main way to avoid this kind of thing is to use the talk page for its intended purpose: talking. i get why it can be frustrating, but by simply declaring that you will begin blanking large parts of an article without prior discussion and leaving only room to comment within edit summaries, people may not see it as constructive even if you provide reasoning that makes sense to you. there is no deadline to improve wikipedia! it is good to be bold, but if other editors seem to disagree, it is always better to chat BEFORE revert wars start. im glad to see that you are interested in sticking around though. if you can, i highly recommending registering an account for some nice perks. hope to see you round InRRainbows Lets chat! 17:28, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, you're right. Thanks for the encouragement! ~2026-32988-60 (talk) 17:31, 4 June 2026 (UTC)

milk drinker phobia…
[edit]
i just gotta say, why are u afraid of milk drinkers? (i can totally handle ur opinion despite being one) AltoHampton t • c • g • s 05:56, 10 June 2026 (UTC)
- as a child i couldnt tolerate milk (despite being very thankfully not lactose intolerant) so i think i just never developed the taste for it. to me it just tastes like... milk. like it came from an animal (astute observation i know) TT_TT. i think it is rather nasty and i am very unfortunate to live in the country with the highest milk consumption per capita and i am constantly surrounded by the enemy. on a daily basis i witness grown adults drinking MULTIPLE glasses of milk in public at lunch lol. you people frighten me!!! i do however appreciate the question and i hope you can appreciate your cow juice. happy editing!
