I am trying to use a STM32G0B1CBT3 for standard (non-FD CAN communication).The device is running from a 8 MHz HSE oscillator.This is the clock topology I am using: As you see the CCS is disabled and the CAN clock and the system clock is running on 64 MHz.In some cases my CAN frames are transmitted with a bitrate faster than expected:The edges some times falling totally to the sampling points, the calculated bit times are lower than 4 us: Putting the correct and incorrect frames the difference is more visible: I have tried to route the HSE to the MCO to see how stable is it, but I have not detected any deviation which could cause this deviation.I also tried to run an overnight test to send a CAN frame continuously and capture the waveform and calculate back the bit times are quite identical: Any hints, ideas would be welcome!

Hi all,I have this kit but I don’t have any bolts holding the display PCB to the main PCB. I tried to look at the BOM for a reference to the part number but I don’t see anything for the bolts. I took one of the bolts holding the standoffs to the main PCB and it looks like an M4mm x 0.5 but I rather be sure before I order a few online. I have enough stuff that doesn’t match them and I rather not add more :-).Thanks

I am designing a custom board using the STM32WL55 in UFBGA73, operating at 433 MHz, and I am currently facing higher-than-expected TX current consumption together with lower RF output power.I would like to know whether ST can provide load-pull data, optimum complex load impedance, or PA matching information at 433 MHz, particularly for approximately 0 dBm and +14 dBm TX power.I have compared my custom board against an STM32WL Nucleo board using the same firmware and RF settings.My measurements so far are:Nucleo board TX current: approximately 65.8 mACustom board TX current: approximately 72 mADifference: approximately 6–7 mA higher on my custom boardConducted RF power measurement on my custom board indicates approximately 10 dB lower output power than expectedMy next step is to measure the impedance presented to the PA at the beginning of the RF matching network and determine whether the PA is seeing the correct load at 433 MHz.Ideally, I would like to compare my measured impedance wit

I found the SEA05 suitable for CC/CV regulation due to its low component count, small footprint, and simple implementation.I would like to clarify the behavior of the SEA05 during a short-circuit condition.Our converter specifications are:Input voltage: 110 VDC nominal Output voltage: 15 V Output current: 5 ADuring a hard short circuit, the output voltage may fall close to 0 V. If the SEA05 is powered from Vout, its VCC will also fall below the specified minimum operating voltage of 3.5 V.In this condition, can the SEA05 still sink the optocoupler LED current through its output and maintain CC control, or does the IC stop operating once VCC falls below 3.5 V?If the SEA05 cannot provide CC control under this condition, please suggest a recommended method for implementing short-circuit protection with the SEA05.Thank you for your support.Best regards,Yajush

The same result occurs with a one-pole-pair, 24 krpm HKP Y0H0-A11 motor. Could you confirm:Is HSO publicly available in MCSDK 6.4.1? Is EVLDRIVE102BH supported? Which reference board should be selected? Is a particular MCU, motor type, sensing topology, or project type required? Is there a working HSO example project that I can import and run? The AN3156 explains on page 18 the Read Unprotect Command:This command is selected when wValue = 0 and the first byte of the buffer sent by the host is 0x92. The buffer length is only one (the command) byte.The host sends a DFU_DNLOAD request with the above parameters to remove the read protection of the internal flash memory.   It is very useful that you implemented a command to remove the read protection.But this is useless if there is also a write protection active.The user has no way to remove a write protection over the DFU protocol.Why does this command not remove both: The read protection AND the write protection at the same time?Why does STM implement nothing that allows to remove a write protection ?

Hi, I'm new to PCB design. I'm planning to build a handmade board for a project that uses the STM32F103C8T6, and I've run into some issues in certain parts of the PCB design. My board only has copper on one side (single-sided). For the HSE 8MHz and LSE 32.768kHz crystal oscillators, the body needs to be placed on the bottom layer, with the pins passing through holes to reach the top layer where they will be soldered. I'm concerned about the soldered area where the solder forms a fillet on the top layer, and whether this fillet, being in line with the OSC traces running toward the MCU, could cause problems. To put it simply: could the solder fillet of the crystal on the top layer cause frequency issues, reduced performance, or make it completely unusable? Since my project is currently in the experimental stage, I haven't built the board yet. The images I've included are just for better understanding and were collected from a few websites. What's your opinion on this?

I implemented a USB HID Host using STM32CubeIDE (v1.19.0), simply enabling USB Host and HID Class support in CubeMX and generating the code.I was able to read keys correctly from a standard USB desktop keyboard. Hi, As mentioned in the other post that the drone frame is not symmetrical, where the propeller guards have fins with certain inclination and orientation (see [1]). I have difficultly to find the correct orientation of the drone02 frame. Since I am not quite sure how the propeller guards fins can affect the downward thrust that produces by the propellers. It would be great if someone can provide suggestion.  I enclosed two cases of the drone frame orientations as reference. NOTE: If I use Figure8 in [2] as reference, then Case1 does look correct. Hello, I am using STM32N657X0H3Q,I am trying to interface unused XSPIM_1 pin - PO1 and XSPIM_2 pin - PN12 as i/o pins,However, STM32CubeMX flags “PARTLY DISABLES CONFLICT” when I try to use them as i/o pins. Can I still continue to use them as GPIO, as I need to interface them with my flash, which works at 1.8v,but my VDD=3.3V, so I only have my freedom of pins left in XSPI_1 and XSPI_2(both of them powered by VDDIO2 AND VDDIO3 are connected to same source at 1.8v), so the pins left are PO1,PO5, AND PN12,  It does not raise an issue when I use PO5; it raises an issue for both PN12 and PO1, Can Someone please help me sort this? Can I still use them, or do I necessarily have to go with a level shifter Thank you.
