This Mother’s Day, we are celebrating the strength, resilience and determination of the mothers in WoodGreen’s Homeward Bound program. Homeward Bound supports single mothers facing barriers such as unstable housing, financial insecurity, and limited access to education and employment. Through housing, education, childcare and wraparound supports, the program helps women build brighter futures for themselves and their families. In this video, hear directly from Homeward Bound staff and a past graduate about the life-changing impact the program can have. We are also proud to recognize and thank the Junior League of Toronto (JLT) for their ongoing support of Homeward Bound. Through both volunteer involvement and financial contributions, they are helping single mothers access the tools, education and supports they need to build stable futures for themselves and their children.
