Education Programs

AZ StRUT is dedicated to educating the next generation of IT professionals in Arizona. We offer enriching programs that inspire students, build real-world skills, and connect learning to meaningful technology careers.

Techie Experience

A single-visit hands-on experience introducing students to computer hardware, networking, or cyber safety. Designed for groups of 10–20 and built to complement any STEM curriculum. Students often take home a device.

Techie Lab

A full school-year partnership aligned to CompTIA A+ and Tech+ certification objectives. Students build real computers and take them home. AZ StRUT has been partnering with Arizona schools since 1998.

A+ Certification Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students enrolled in one of our partner schools. It supports students pursuing the CompTIA A+ certification exam — an industry-recognized credential that opens doors to IT careers.

What Makes Our Programs Different

Every AZ StRUT education program is built around one core idea — students learn best when they’re doing real work with real equipment.

Real Hardware

Students work with actual computer components — not simulations. Hands-on experience that sticks.

Take-Home Devices

Many program participants take home a refurbished computer — bridging the digital divide one student at a time.

Industry Certification

Curriculum aligned to CompTIA A+ and Tech+ prepares students for recognized certifications and real career opportunities.

School Partnerships

We partner with 50+ schools statewide and have been doing so since 1998 — with deep roots in Arizona’s education community.
