The company is still hard at it today – including producing 6,000 m² of carpet for Nyaal Banyul. Set to open in July, the Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre will feature: • a 1,000-seat theatre • exhibition spaces • meeting rooms • conference facilities • event spaces • food and beverage areas • a landscaped public plaza. Delivering new health infrastructure isn’t just about building, it’s about building while a hospital keeps running. Our team delivered a new purpose‑built facility at Concord Centre for Mental Health, managing complex interfaces without compromising safety or quality. One of the biggest challenges: constructing over a live 11kVa high‑voltage inground cable. Rather than wait months for relocation, we used detailed surveying and digital modelling to redesign around critical services, lock in safe methodologies, and maintain hospital operations. The result? A benchmark for safety and quality, delivered under budget and ahead of programme. A great day was had last week at the Property Industry Foundation Brisbane Charity Regatta! Marking our decade of partnering with PIF we witnessed firsthand the passion behind supporting our Queensland community with circa $170k raised to combat youth homelessness. "Continuing to deliver homes for homeless youth across Brisbane, PIF is making a real difference for young people who need it most, and fundraising efforts like this have such an enormous, lasting impact” said Christian Adamson, General Manager, Queensland. "Queensland is central to Built's future, and our commitment to this state goes well beyond the projects we deliver. Partnerships like this reflect the deep roots our team has here and our genuine investment in the communities that make Queensland stronger." Looking forward to doing it again next year! Marking another major milestone at Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital, the multi-storey carpark has topped out bringing us one huge step closer to opening 1,379 new parking spaces for the doctors, nurses, allied health workers and community. “If you've ever tried to park at a Queensland hospital, you know exactly why this matters, it’s an extension to this hospital. 200,000+ hours have been accrued, made up of Queensland workers building for Queensland's health system, all delivered with meticulous planning working in proximity to live clinical areas.” Christian Adamson, General Manager, Qld.
