I'm a computer scientist experimenting with robotics and computer vision algorithms based primarily on geometry rather than deep learning, which is so overhyped today. My temporary solution to the "two-language problem" for algorithmic experiments is ... two languages: Python with NumPy and Numba, and a sane subset of C++, call it C+ or C++- if you like.
