Fgm2, 31 Jan 2026"Gaming phone" and still don't even have a headphone jack.Maybe the USB-C charging port doubles as an audio port for wired USB-C headphones.
No card slot?
Keep it to yourself
Again USB 2.0 still..sigh
"Gaming phone" and still don't even have a headphone jack.
seb, 30 Jan 2026Please make compact phones too. 6.1" would be great Wat? This is a gaming phone. A gaming phone to be compact is counter intuitive. You need more space for better heat distribution, to fit more cooling components and also it does not make any sense to choose a 6" display for gaming. There are lots of compact phones out there for casual users anyway.
seb, 30 Jan 2026Please make compact phones too. 6.1" would be great Totally agree. I would be content even with 5-5.5 inch display.
Not everyone has a big hand to hold these phablets.
Please make compact phones too. 6.1" would be great
Anonymous, 20 Jan 2026+1, nothing over 200$ deserve the buck without IP68. Just enjoy the first random rain ! You mi... moreIt has a fan! Is It so hard to understand It won't have an IP68/69 with It?
It's hilarious how you complain about It not having IP68, when 2 years ago most of the phones were limited to IP54 or so.
Are you saying at that time there was no rain and no one forgot their phones outside?
LMAO
Technomen KFB, 20 Jan 2026Design looks uglyI really like the design.
sayabosanhidup, 20 Jan 2026would have bought it with that price& if only this phone has an ip66 68 69k !This phone has a fan, of course the IP will be lower.
ZTE, for your international audience that travels, please add eSim and you would see more sales of your devices. Thank you
TG91, 20 Jan 20268 mm thickness is Air🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Are you kidding me ZTE?

Yes, Using elite chip, old one; is a bad manufacturing choice for higher charging while attracting young people who only sees the name! And overheating issue is also there!

A lot of users managed to survive even back in the days of removable battery. And the incident you mentioned is user carelessness. Higher chances your phone gets stolen if left outside before rain gets to it lol.
Anonymous, 20 Jan 2026for years I wanted to buy a gaming phone, but I never will, if the camera sdtay as bad as it is...ZTE's audience doesn't care about camera. Heck, majority of gamers don't even care about updates especially if the update will tank phone's performance. Please tell me if you can really differentiate an Android 13/14/15/16 device immediately.

Technomen KFB, 20 Jan 2026Design looks uglyYup still prefer the looks of 9s and 10 air than this.
Pampam666, 21 Jan 2026Damn, lots of crybabies here in the comments, crying that every phone is the same, but if some... moreI think it's just general ignorance about the world of technology and information technology, plus there's the cognitive bias of the wrong context.
In this specific context, which is gaming in general, since the RedMagic line is focused on this, they've done a great job.
The device is aesthetically pleasing, has excellent basic hardware (the chip), has excellent heat management (no need for additional external fan modules, what is already there is more than enough), is lighter, and has optimised software (few upgrades, but the development is of high code quality and focused on emulation in general).
What is still missing (unfortunately) is the software compatibility of a Turnip MESA for the Qualcomm Elite architecture.
Otherwise, I wouldn't have thought twice about replacing my “old” SnapDragon 8 Gen 3.
In any case, if the price is actually between £500 and £600 (at least for 12GB RAM, 256GB SSD), it could also prove to be an excellent all-round console, as well as being a good phone.
Damn, lots of crybabies here in the comments, crying that every phone is the same, but if someone wants to look a bit more different that isn't good either.
Honestly it's a gorgeous looking phone, not too bulky like the usual gaming phone and the no notch rectangular screen will forever be superior to any other notch type screen.
Now if ZTE wasnt known for bad software support and they would allow for bootloader unlock, this would be a great device. Also I don't think this will come under 500 euros in Europe.
