This beast Can handle REALME UI 7 all blurs and bouncy app open close animations all blurs I just saw a video on YouTube and I'm amazed by how it can handle such thing a latest realme s own model can't, in eager to buy this even in used condition in 2026 for gaming and custom romming, I don't see any issue here as people are agreeing that it ages well like a fine wine, it still looks decent, amoled 120hz is what latest smartphones brands still upbringing as midrange and flagship, so if I buy this and unlock bl flash something Android 16 or above this would be worth every penny, and yep the Indian units do not last, but the ones which were bought on launch date lasts more

About battery:
Using this phone from 2021 April and still has no problem with battery except of course it doesn't hold as new, but enough for about 8h - 10h of watching YouTube.
I NEVER used quick charger from the box. 1A to 1.5A max with weaker charger only.
The phone it self is brilliant with perfect screen, big enough battery, 8.1mm of thickness, IR for remote, micro SD slot, 3,5mm audio jack, 108MP really good camera with 5MP MICRO lens what lets you make amazing pictures of bugs ant other micro things. No more Redmi couldn't find with same 5MP macro lens since.
Bought same phones for wife and parents :-) It's really best of the best yet. Was waiting for 17 Xiaomi, but was very disappointed and in my pocket still Old Good Friend Redmi Note 10Pro!

4 years later and changed to a new battery last month and this phone is an absolutely beast for the price it was I ran codm Lords Mobile games and everything perfectly fine with it....... Was a yt editor for games and when you put gcam along with a custom rom this phone is unstoppable I am not wasting my money on Xiaomi again unless they bring back phones with everything on it and in it like this I will keep this phone for another 10 years easily if it means I can change the battery every 3 years to keep it up to par....... Eu Xiaomi a12 just works perfectly with no issues only losers and dorks care to worry about getting updates to be on the latest version of Android that's filled with bugs issues and battery drain a hefty no thanks

Believe it or not am still using it since 2022! daily delivery driver... gps + screen all the time 6+ hours from 100% to 45% battery... also custom rom lineage os i installed first month i think helped a lot to save battery life... i don't remember original OS how it looked like, but i think it was blotware junk...

its 2021 and you get your first phone with 5000+ battery!, very durable phone too, while i only encountered issues are weak battery and power button, but repaired in xiaomi store and still running totally fine, already give it to my father since i bought poco f7 but the 1st phone that started my liking to xiaomi brand

I had this phone since 2022 and this was the best phone I've ever used, but recently my volume up button sometimes was pressed by itself until max volume and I realize this while I am listening to music, I think maybe because the volume button has already having a little crack in it. My question does anyone having the same problem? and can I repair this volume button in Xiaomi service center without leaving the phone in store or I just used third party apps that disable the volume up button because sometimes the volume up button still pressed by itself although I put down the phone.

It had MicroSDCARD SLOT! If you buy the highest configuration unit it would be worth and combined the highest memory Sd card you'll be good for years. And also Headphone jack!

Forget that it's 4G (a lot of even the most recent 5G phones don't offer speedier internet service than this, and, except for certain mega cities, most of the world—and much of our internet needs—is capped at 4G anyway, for the next few years), this is the best and the last real quality smartphone that Xiaomi/Redmi made. I'd choose it any day over most flagship models of late, much less the 12 Pro 5G which most reviewers love to compare this beautiful piece of technology with. Plus, the design, the microSDXC slot, the 3.5mm headphone jack, the 120Hz AMOLED screen refresh rate, and the fact that you can get usable 4K video out of this phone are enough to have this phone still going strong for more years to come!

The non compromise phone which was reasonably prized back then that have everything packed in, jack, sd slot, ir blaster, good camera setup that can record upto 4k & take good photos & macro, amoled 120hz, big battery, ufs 2.2, snapdragon soc, stereo speakers, ip54, 33w charge, etc.
Still useable today with custom roms, props to snapdragon soc, if this was mediatek probably doa already.

Of course it's a gaming phone, but is has killer specs. And it is not exactly cheap (1000€ for 1TB, I wouldnt go lower since there is no micro SD support), but it is probably still the best thing you can get with a jack
