I personally like Lcd screens like the one we have over Amoleds for couple of reasons, LCDs are easier on the eyes since they don't have the pwm flickering, also they less prone to burn or having dead pixels. But ofc the color saturation and deep blacks are much better on the amoleds.

Keep in mind with every major update comes a lot of bugs, especially Xiaomi and Oppo are known for their sketchy updates. So, I'd prefer to stay where we are at right now than having an unstable OS full of issues.

However, like I said once before: I personally wouldn't pay over $200 for a Xiaomi device that includes Poco, because of the software ofc. For $200+ I'm gonna get either Honor or Realme both have a better software experience which matters a lot imo actually they might not have the best chips in them but I'd pick the software over. This is just my humble opinion.

I think we're gonna be stuck with either Xiaomi or Honor in this case. Btw, I've tried H-X9d in the store today, and I gotta say it's a decent device mate I like it. The only thing is it has a lil underpowered chip and the UFS is only 2.2 For the price that's very underwhelming.

oscarstern, 22 May 2026What do you think about the realme 16 5G ? It's kinda okay-ish. But I'd go for Rm GT 7 or GT 7T over Rm 16. Same price bracket, better specs.
