WhatsApp introduces incognito chats with Meta AI
Today, WhatsApp has announced the introduction of incognito chats with Meta AI. As the name implies, these are private chats with the Meta chatbot inside WhatsApp. And when we say private, we mean "truly private", as Meta bills them - no one can read these chats, not even Meta (if you take their word for it, of course).
Interestingly, Meta says other incognito-style modes for competing AI chatbots can't compete because the makers of those chatbots "can still see the questions coming in and the answers going out".
On the other hand, incognito chats with Meta AI are "processed in a secure environment that even Meta cannot access". These conversations are not saved and by default the messages inside them disappear.
The next step, coming in the next few months, is "Side Chat protected by Private Processing". These "side chats" will offer "private help with any chat, with context of what's being discussed, without disrupting the main conversation", Meta says.

after extracting context/intent of chat summary, the whole chat text is just bagasse and can be safely left or marketed as private
