After revealing details about the main rear camera of the upcoming vivo X300 Ultra, the company has now shared the specifications of the phone’s telephoto camera as well. vivo also recently showcased the X300 Ultra’s video capabilities at MWC.

vivo product manager Han Boxiao revealed the details in a post on Weibo. The vivo X300 Ultra will feature a fifth-generation Zeiss 200MP periscope telephoto camera using a customized Samsung HP0 sensor.

According to the company, the telephoto camera will leverage vivo’s BlueImage technology to improve color accuracy, autofocus performance, power efficiency, and HDR capabilities.

The telephoto camera will also feature improved image stabilization. vivo claims the system will offer up to 3-degree stabilization, a significant upgrade over the 1.2-degree stabilization available on the vivo X200 Ultra. As a result, the upcoming X300 Ultra’s telephoto unit is said to achieve CIPA 7.0-level stabilization.

The enhanced stabilization should allow for longer and steadier exposures, enabling the camera to capture more light. This is also expected to significantly improve zoom performance in low-light conditions.

Additionally, the telephoto camera will support improved focus tracking with up to 60fps motion capture, allowing it to better track fast-moving subjects.

The vivo X300 Ultra is expected to launch in China later this month and is also set to make its global debut for the first time.

It's f2.27 on the x200 ultra's 85mm. I don't want it become slower than f2.27.
