vivo S2 full specs and pricing leak ahead of launch

The vivo S2 is rumored to launch in India on August 6, with the company recently confirming its arrival and teasing the handset's design. Ahead of its debut, a new leak has revealed the phone's full specifications and expected pricing.

According to a tipster on X, the vivo S2 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will carry a launch price of between INR 40,000 and INR 45,000. The tipster adds that the handset will have a box price of INR 66,999.

The vivo S2 is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 chipset.

For photography, the handset is said to feature a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary rear camera accompanied by a 2MP sensor. Meanwhile, a 32MP camera is tipped to handle selfies and video calls.

It is also tipped to pack a 7,050mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging and offer IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The tipster also claims that vivo could launch new TWS earbuds alongside the smartphone. The buds are said to offer 10mm drivers, 50 hours of total battery life, Bluetooth 6.1, and could be available in Basalt black and Nilgiri Green color options.
