Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro to launch next week, key features and pricing revealed
Yesterday, an online retailer in India teased the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro. Now, Samsung has revealed the handset's launch date and confirmed some of its key specifications.
The Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro will launch in India on August 3 and will be available for purchase through Flipkart and Samsung's official online store.
According to its official product page on Samsung India's website, the Galaxy F70 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For photography, the phone will feature a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro unit. It will also feature a front-facing camera with HDR support.
Up front, the Galaxy F70 Pro will sport an FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.
The handset will pack a 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. It will be available in Aura Green and Alpha Black color options.
Samsung has also confirmed that the Galaxy F70 Pro will run One UI 8.5 and offer several AI-powered features. The handset will receive six years of OS upgrades and security updates.
Meanwhile, a Flipkart microsite has revealed the phone's pricing. The 6GB/128GB variant will cost INR 25,999 ($275), while the 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB models will be priced at INR 29,999 ($315) and INR 34,999 ($370), respectively.

I would rather get super HD 1.5k display with UFS 2.2 LPDDR4X than the LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 that hikes the price uselessly just to profit the memory Cartel while getting the same ancient FHD+

So it's just a rebranded M47, which was just a rebranded A27 with a bigger battery anyways, and there is nothing special, or Pro about the 6 Gen 3 and that camera setup with those tiny sensors.
