Oppo Reno15 F is similarly priced but is much better choice than Galaxy A27 for countless reasons, including the following:
1. More durable IP68 vs. IP64 water / dust resistance
2. 7000 mAh battery vs. 5000 mAh battery
3. 80W charging vs. 25W charging
4. Video recording 4K@60 fps vs. 4K@30 fps
5. In-display fingerprint sensor vs. entry level side-mounted fingerprint scanner
6. Higher resolution cameras
Samsung's only advantage is longer software support but overall it can't beat Oppo Reno15 F. Samsung phones also historically use weak glue for back cover which detaches after a year or so, compromising water resistance and durability.

Avoid budget or mid rangers from the like of Samsung.
They are way overpriced.
The sad reality is that some countries simply don't have as many versatile options.

Sometimes and likely our needs for the phone only for basic tasks where the entry level like A0X or A1X is sufficient and still we want a better device as what we can afford. Is it wrong? No, it's just not wise I think. And this is privilege of each person since there's no law prohibit this mechanism. That's again simply money talks.

I have highlighted the pros of A27. If you found that's still unsatistied, you need to consider that A27 is a year younger and still fresh that would give an extra 1 year of usage compared to A26. And at the same time you still get an active 1 year warranty from Samsung. Which means whenever you have problem on your phone you can go to Samsung SC to repair at no cost at all. Regarding this warranty you have to follow its T & C.

By time, the price will be lower to follow the original arrangement. Let say you want to buy it now, I will of course strongly recommend you to buy A37. The current situation as what you just described is allowing easyness of selection.

I personally like this design though it is subjective enough. It is unlikely they will remove it except for the A0 series.

Mr. Anonymous, 09 Jul 2026That's much better than expected, but not enough at current price to beat A36 or A37 Samsung has arranged the A series proportionally and this model was located right below A3 series in term of price and performance which was adequately represented by the SOC. Price to performance ratio is still balance if we know the brand closely which has good UI on top of the core OS to make the hardwares work at its max.

Samsung’s A-series consistently receives the same uninspiring verdict: you are better off buying the previous model (now at a lower price) or a device from the tier above. Consequently, it likely appeals only to consumers who have no real interest in the actual hardware inside the phone. No amount of software updates can fundamentally alter the reality of inferior hardware.

Why do they insist on giving it three cameras? Two slightly higher quality ones would be so much better. Especially the macro lens is really a joke, really only serves as a design element.
