Dear god, this is straight up embarassing at this point. Model like Poco F8 Ultra for example is literally the same money and is 1000x better in EVERY aspect, let alone something like Xiaomi 15

I honestly can't understand you people and why would anyone want less choice for their fellow humans, be it this or the usual 3,5 mm jacks and microSD which you could simply not use if you don't want to. Same here, hard as it may be for some here to comprehend, no one is talking about forcing you big handed absolutely stunningly strong folks to use smaller phones since it would obviously hurt your egos; you don't want or need it so could just ignore it, but some people need to do other things while using their phone with one hand.

I’m a small woman with small hands - my palm is almost the exact width of the iPhone 12 mini (which I still have and will use as long as I can), and it’s only about 5” from the tip of my thumb to the tip of my little finger if I stretch my fingers as wide as I can.
Larger phones don’t fit in my pockets, take up too much room in my bags, and are uncomfortable to hold. It is also nice to be able to use the phone one handed since I have a young baby and usually only have one free hand when he falls asleep on me 😂.
I rarely watch videos on my phone so that isn’t a concern for me. I totally get why big phones exist and are popular. I just wish that there were still some small options. Something like the jelly max would be ideal, but I don’t like that unihertz doesn’t do much in the way of updates. And a dumbphone isn’t really practical since I need to be able to use the apps for local transit and my kid’s daycare."

Before you jump to highlighting the average monthly/annual salaries to dismiss the appeal for the iPhone, please take into consideration the 1.4 Billion people living here. Even 1% of the people buying a particular brand accounts for a healthy 14 million people.
Also, there's something called as EMI which is a big hit amongst the younger generations. So affordability isn't really an issue for a lot of people. But they'll still blindly buy the iPhone for the logo.

Wifeys Mi 17 Pro is just the right size for her (she upgraded from the IPhone 16 Pro)
Daughter is using the OP13. She doesn't feel that the size is a dealbreaker. It's much appreciated in her own words.
I see lot of women using the iPhone Pro Max over the regular small screen iPhone.
So it's just you!

And I'd say much more people may not be as loyal as you think. For instance, at least in SG, the moment Oppo ramped up advertising of their Find X9, I see so many people using the Find X9 Pro or Find X9; chances are they were former users of Apple.

True too, but theres a reason why iPhone 14 base model sold 79M units in first 6 months, over 86M of 13 of the same base.

It's simply the logo pressuring them to buy one.
They'll make ridiculous statements like "If I have to spend that much, I'll spend on an iPhone".
Basically, irrespective of how good the phone is, their loyalty is with that Apple logo irrespective of the compromises that come along with it.

Considering the success of the 16e, it's no wonder Apple has already mapped out up to a 19e. At least enterprise users can have an iPhone with decent battery life (versus previously mediocre iPhone SE).
My wish list is the square front facing camera sensor. LTPO would be icing on the cake, but not that big of a deal. I hope 18e would bring that sensor.

To the West, 19 Mar 2026How do the signal strength and call quality of the 17e compare to the S26 series?You can bank on it that Apple will test the signal strength between the 2 and say the iPhone 17e gets better signal strength over the S26 Ultra.

I even see someone still using an iPhone 8 till this date.
