I want to warn everyone about this company's approach to customers. My phone arrived at their service center on February 27th for a warranty repair. It is now late March, and to this day I have received absolutely NO information about what is happening with my device or when it will be fixed.
Their customer support is an absolute joke. Whenever I try to find out anything, every employee just strings me along and promises to call me back, followed by dead silence. Nobody reaches out, nobody knows anything. From the moment you hand in your phone for warranty, you clearly cease to exist to them as a customer.
Even though the phone itself might be okay, I strongly advise against buying it. If something breaks, you'll be left with a problem and no phone for weeks on end. Avoid them like the plague! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Just root it and debloat the trashware or simply flash custom ROM!The selection of devices that have an actively maintained custom ROM is quite limited these days. There's only a few phones available if you want a recent device with 8+ Gen 1/2/3 and quite literally only a single phone with Snapdragon 8 Elite that supports a custom ROM that's a actually usable and maintained, not someone's buggy side project.
On something like Xiaomi unlocking the bootloader is a massive pain and virtually all devices with Mediatek or Exynos are unsupported by any custom ROM anyway because only Qualcomm takes honoring GPL seriously.

There is literally no way to remove all ads from HyperOS. Yes, you can limit them quite a lot, but you can’t eliminate them completely. And it drains the battery a lot.

3) The biggest issue is a security app on both coloros and hyperos. It collects data and if you try to remove it will brick your phone (spare me the adb spiel)
