could you please order the photos by the content and not by the zoom setting?
video "screen grabs" are sorted well and it's easy to understand the differences in the performance
as usual with realme, the wide angle lens is crap, but the long one looks promising for the price, bit overdenoised at night

Really this phone's best telephoto quality is within x3.5 ~ 6.9 this range is looking natural.
Then it has a final unique longest x9.8 setting in the same vein; this is the limit of this camera.
All other zoom factors have visible unnatural processing like oversharpening and darkening, then heavy AI reconstruction that starts appearing from x9.9 and only gets worse as you increase the factor.
x10 is already looking terrible, x15 even worse, and beyond is literally unuseable.
I think we should not congratulate nor validate phone manufacturers for doing this: they are wasting image quality, not making it better.

Got mine, gsmarena should have tested more zoom settings beyond the base presets:
(recommendations: turn HDR off every time, use Natural color profile, turn off all AI assist)
(note: the camera app sometimes produces only blurry pictures: you need to force if off and on again when that happens)
x1 50mp -> the high res mode is nice indeed! not perfect but better than 12mp
x1.2 (tap once for 28mm) -> a little bit softer than x1
x1.5 (tap twice for 35mm) -> not good, too smooth
x2 -> sharpening processing and clean but darker and colder than x1
x3.5 -> best quality of all, no question! natural-looking
Beyond this you have to set manually:
x4, x5 -> really good and natural-looking too, but lacking shortcuts
x6 to x6.9 -> same as x4 and x5 but softer, not everyone will like
x7 -> good but like x2 some pocessing kicks in, it is sharpened and darker+colder
x9.8 -> 225~226mm 'secret setting', very soft like in a dream but still surprisingly natural and detailed
ALL these manual settings beyond the x3.5 preset, look MUCH better than the x10 preset. I don't know why Realme did something so absurd, skipping the good x5, x7, x9.8 and only giving the ugly ultra-processed x10 a shortcut.
And Gsmarena should definitely test settings above the telephoto native's more thoroughly...

I would say that the 16 Pro+ looks more like a direct successor to the 14 Pro+ than to the 15 Pro.

because they live in a country who cannot provide salaries for better quality of life like
in the developed West.
This phone costs 40K... And most people monthly salaries in India are almost 20K..
Almost half the price of this phone.
