To me this is a downgrade on almost all levels while the new one will most probably cost more than the outgoing one when it was launched. I don't get it (although I do, it's most probably cost & revenue related, the 4 was probably to expensive to make for a mid-ranger). No, this new iteration isn't my cup of tea, especially because the screen grew again compared to the previous one. The smaller battery is a downgrade as well, even if the difference in performance is only slightly lower.

Downgraded material from full metallic to plastic/glass
Heavier and bulkier with even a slight battery life downgrade
7+Gen3 to 8sGen3 binned upgrade cpu barely means anything
ufs 4.0 downgraded to ufs 3.1
Camera is slightly better that's all

I think only 128GB variant has UUFS 3.1 otherwise its UFS 4
