Had the Xiami Pad 7. Returned it because the display edge where the front facing camera and volume buttons are is a bit dimmer than the rest of the screen. So the potentially better hardware comes at the expense of poor quality control and rubbish software with Xiaomi. Choose your poison, but remember android tablets aside from Samsung maybe are throw away items once used, with no resell value. Also no fingerprint reader on the majority of android tablets, so the base IPad is better for all but tech enthusiast users.

I just bought mine to upgrade from my iPad 9th Gen yesterday on 4th January. Here at my place Shopee made some crazy new year sales and I only bought it for like 270$ only. See? Way cheaper than those that you mentioned. As for iPadOS M1 features lol most of those M1 features already made it to the older models even my iPad 9th Gen can do that now. Even the old iPad Pro 2018 which is using A12X support it as I speak right now so you're not missing on anything except for Apple Intelligence which is really not needed. Their AI is bullcrap anyway.

This isn't just about higher numbers though, the display in general is just worse than what you get elsewhere, that's even before bringing up the higher refresh rate. Then the longer battery life comes in, which obviously matters, too. Better speakers, also not a number and for something often used for some gaming or watching Netflix surely a nice bonus. You can buy this thing if you want to, I just point out that it is not nearly as good as it could and should be, considering what the alternatives offer.

No clue why you act like this, mind explaining it? Besides that was just one example. Lenovo also offers a better alternative to this iPad. So do others. Just admit it, this is outdated and not competitive with what others in that price range offer.

Next time try actually using those Xiaomi tablets. Ask Mi Pad 6 users that was lied to and thrown under the bus by Xiaomi. If you like tablets for the spec, you can actually save even more money by simply printing the spec page. Then you can brag to everyone how your choice has better spec, on paper.

The display size for the iPad (A16) is the exact same as the iPad 10th gen, even on physical stores there is a text on the bottom saying that they rounded the number from 10.86"(the actual size) to 10.9"(iPad 10th gen) to now saying that it's 11" so it still hasn't changed, what has changed was the number, it's the exact same hardware aside form the chip, ram and storage options.
