It has magic os and when in China google will not work. You can connect to wi-fi outside China and install all google stuff and it works fine. Google stuff will not work in China. Also you connect to your phone for google to work in China.

Does anyone know how to install this GBox virtual machine? Is it the same with GBox in AppGallery (I've tried but streaming is still SD only)

The SoC are miles ahead ... moreif you use it for media consumption, design tool and light laptop replacement maybe. the design is very good also huawei asking price usually bundled with charger, keyboard cover and pen which cost another 500$ ++ for samsung. At this size both doesn't really fit for other purposes.

The chip definitely violates US sanctions because the whole point was to keep Huawei at 14 nm or below and 10 years behind (not 7). But seeing as that has failed there's very little else that can be done.

Huawei is reusing the notch in the MatePad Pro. Like the Mate 20 Pro notch, the MatePad Pro notch has a wide selfie camera and a tof sensor for 3D face unlock.

Anonymous, 18 Dec 2023I don't know why would people care about GMs iPhone doesn't have GMs or 1/3rd of the... moreiPhone doesn't have GMS as they have their own security and system framework. In the Android space, the GMS is needed to run many apps. For example, banking or payment apps.
The market needs to have a new OS outside of the duopoly of iOS and Android. Hopefully, these apps will be widely available (and natively) in the HMS soon, otherwise, it will be difficult to compete outside China.
