Why is everyone so concerned about who is stealing your data/info? Are you some gov spy, with nuke secrets? I've been using Xiaomi/Oppo/Oneplus phones for years - Xiaomi brand is the best built phone of the big Chinese phones on the market - I've had the 13 Pro Global since Jan 2023 and love this phone - stable/solid and looks great for an Android phone.

I have 5 Xiaomi's in the family. They all worked great. Still using my Mix 2 from 2017 on the daily.

As long as you're using any Google or Social Media apps your data is being stolen. If you're using a bank your own bank also steals your data. To avoid that, you have to live in the jungle like a caveman.

Thonny, 21 Sep 2023Is it e-Sim compatible?I don't know if mine does, I just don't use it. But articles out there say it does. Depending on where you are, your carrier might have a concrete explanation, as this feature could be region specific.

Don't waste your money. Bokeh effect in Videos doesn't works. Severe network issue. MI support team doesn't give response for complaints. Overall a bad phone. .

Apple... the two biggest contenders amongst a massive field. They are all at it. It Perhaps it comes down to server choice. I have no connection to China but do to the US, so I will probably get more privacy from the Chinese phones.

Still an amazing phone and outstanding camera, people are still wowed when I tell them that the photos are not taken with my Canon Cam haha 😇😇 still worth the price

Have you guys dodged the elephant in the room. The data privacy issues with regard to Xiaomi, they have been caught red handed multiple times stealing data of users. I know many users may not care about this, however this is a serious issue.
