The Redmi Note 17 series finally has an official launch date for India. Just as previously speculated, the Note 17 and Note 17 Pro will be introduced on August 6. The accompanying teasers showcase the Note 17 in blue and purple colors.

Redmi Note 17 India launch date confirmed

We get confirmation of an AMOLED screen and a sizeable 8,000mAh battery, which would match the Chinese version that launched earlier this month. A recent Geekbench run also revealed that the Indian Redmi Note 17 will feature the same Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chip alongside 8GB RAM and Android 16, presumably with HyperOS 3 on top.

If the Indian Note 17 turns out to be identical to the Chinese version, then it should also feature a single 50MP main cam and an 8MP selfie shooter.
