Poco M8 Power to debut next week with an 8,000mAh battery
Recently, references to the Poco M8 Power were discovered in the latest HyperOS firmware, hinting at an imminent launch. Now, Poco India has officially revealed that the smartphone will debut next week.
Poco has confirmed via a post on X that the Poco M8 Power will be unveiled in India on August 4. It will be available for purchase via Flipkart.
Alongside announcing the launch date, the company also teased the smartphone in an orange color option with a textured rear panel. The teaser confirms that the handset will pack an 8,000mAh battery and a 50MP primary rear camera.
The Poco M8 Power is expected to be a rebranded Redmi Note 17, which debuted last week. If that's the case, the handset could also feature a 7-inch OLED display, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, and an 8MP front-facing camera. We'll find out the official details next week.

Snapdragon 4 Gen series is just like Dimensity 6000 series. Qualcomm and MediaTek do everything to drag on gen on gen improvements to measly 3-5%.
