Last year’s Samsung Galaxy S25 series brought 15W wireless charging via the Qi2 standard, which did not provide any speed benefits over prior generations. It seems that the upcoming Galaxy S26 series or at least the S26 Ultra will, as we now have our first look at the upcoming Samsung Magnet Wireless Charger.

The images shared by SamMobile show the accessory, which features the EP-P2900BBEGWW model number. It supports the Qi2 wireless charging standard and is rated to output up to 25W speeds. This likely refers to the Qi2.2 trim, which was finalized by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) last year and goes up to said 25W speeds.

The charger consists of a wireless charging puck, which is connected to a braided USB-C cable and will apparently be available in a single black color. The box of the accessory specifically states it requires an official Samsung 45W Power Adapter or a higher power adapter of 45W (PPS 20V spec) to reach its 25W peak speeds.

Users will also need a Qi2-ready case with Magnetic Power Profile (MPP) alignment for the magic to happen. The box also mentions that it is compatible with the Galaxy S25 series or later models with a magnetic case, and it should naturally also work with other Qi2/MagSafe smartphones like the iPhone 12 and newer, Pixel 10 and up, and HMD Skyline.

This is not the first Qi2 accessory for the S26 series, as we recently saw images for Samsung’s Qi2 power bank, which is expected to offer up to 15W wireless top-ups and 20W via compatible USB-C cables.

And how would you know that the high wattage standards the chinese brands use aren't safe? Have you ever used anything like that? Clearly not. Interestingly my nearly 3 year old vivo X Note which was almost exclusively charged with a vivo ...
