The Xiaomi 17 launched in China back in September, and its global launch is expected to happen soon. As we keep waiting for that, purported pricing for the device in Europe has surfaced courtesy of a retailer listing in Germany.
The Xiaomi 17 will apparently cost €1,099 with 512GB of storage. This probably means the phone will start at €999 with 256GB of storage.
The retailer in question has also revealed the Xiaomi 17's battery capacity in Europe - 6,330 mAh. That's smaller than the 7,000 mAh cell it has in China, but situations like this are par for the course these days.
Aside from the battery capacity, the international Xiaomi 17 is expected to be identical to its Chinese counterpart, coming with a 6.3-inch 1220x2656 LTPO AMOLED touchscreen with 120Hz refresh rate, 2,160Hz PWM, and 3,500-nit peak brightness, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC at the helm, 12/16GB of RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage, a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with 2.6x optical zoom and OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus, and an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner.
Giztop i have seen but sadly they want PayPal and dont accept direct Creditcard payment 😐 So i ordered 17 Ultra from Trading Chenzhen for almost 1137€. 3 days later price was 150€ less so i asked if they can do something and they directly send me 150...
We are indeed spending $1000 on Xiaomi, Vivo or Oppo and others over the over-rated western trio of Google, Samsung and Apple which do not deserve to be priced over $1000 for what they offer.
Too expensive. Buy it from Giztop, I bought one for my wife (the 17 Pro variant - the best compact Flasghip right now). Costed me a total of around $800.
