Motorola Android Rumors

Motorola is unveiling one or more new Razrs internationally on April 29, as revealed earlier today. Now, a new report from France brings us more information about the US market. Like last year, the lineup will be rebranded over there, and there's an extra model.

So, the international Razr 70 will be known in North America as the Razr 2026, the Razr 70 Ultra will be the Razr Ultra 2026, and there will be a Razr+ 2026 sitting in between them with no international correspondent.

Motorola Razr 2026, Razr+ 2026, and Razr Ultra 2026 US prices leak

The new lineup will allegedly become available in North America on May 21. There will be price hikes: $100 for the vanilla model and the Razr+, $200 for the Ultra. The Razr 2026 will start at $799.99 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the Razr+ 2026 will start at $1,099.99 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and the Razr Ultra 2026 will start at $1,499.99 with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The Razr Fold 2026 will launch alongside that trio, at $1,899.99 with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The Razr 70 / Razr 2026 is said to be powered by the Dimensity 7450X SoC, most likely a minor improvement from the Dimensity 7400X of its predecessor. The phone will be otherwise identical, but will get a 4,800 mAh battery (300 mAh more) and a 50MP ultrawide camera - previous rumors said this would be telephoto, we can't say what's accurate and what isn't unfortunately.

The Razr+ 2026 will have the same size for the inner screen but will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, and its refresh rate will go up to 165Hz (vs. 120Hz on the Razr 2026). This model will drop the battery down to 4,500 mAh, and will support faster 45W wired charging. The camera system will be the same, as will the IP48 rating and the fact that both will be running Android 16 from day one of course.
