starphone, 18 hours agoThat's not a phone with a camera, it's a camera with a phone. I love it! Whatever it... moreMe too but it could be a 40-60 mm taller and 20-30mm wider would be nice to see.
Finaly a decently sized camera on a camera phone still not decently sized phone as 6,85 inch i consider as a small tiny device would prefer 7 to 10 inch device non folding bar slab phone with phone aspects ratio not a tablet with horrible cameras and other horrible specs.
Finaly something worth the money.
This is clearly fake come on they just put something on top it's not even attached and it sticks out from the edges
Shamrock Sean, 17 hours agoThat's too bigThat's what she said.
Anyway, I'm curious to see how much of a chonker the Minion Phone is & if it's so front-heavy it actually falls out of your hand.
That huge island is completely missing in their actual press render. So this is likely a cover, accessory, or just a prototype of some sort.
All this for a 23mm 1/1.28" main, an 85mm HP9 recycled for yet another year and a JN5 ultrawide lol.
Definitely won't look like that. With smaller sensors than the Vivo x300 ultra (even with improved OIS) there is no need for a camera bump like that. Also the larger bloggers haven't been showing this image. There is a photo of Jay Chou (likely ambassador) with an unknown real Vivo phone suspected to be the x500 pro max and it looks quite different from this
Looks more like a cover to hide the new design
Makes no sense the actual cameras don’t require that much space. Even 3 1 inch sensors wouldn’t need that. These are just the same size sensors they have been using. Don’t get it
Mr. Anonymous, 17 hours agoFake, X300 Ultra has 3 large sensors, yet it doesn't take this much space. Spec-wise, X5... moreExactly. It is fake.
I think the phone on the right is a Vivo prototype with four sensors: I assume two will be telephoto lenses, one wide-angle, and the main sensor.
We'd need to know how they'd arrange them in that huge module.
I don't think it's the X500 Pro Max, but I hope it is the X500 Ultra.
If so Vivo, you've got a buyer here! 👍🏼👏👏
That looks like AI, but if this ends up being the real thing, then it's the worst possible smartphone design ever, and it's simply way too much.
The second one from the left on the bottom row is still ginormous but at least gives the illusion of being smaller while arguably looking better than the usual circle slapped on the back that Vivo's been doing for the past 4 years
Fake, X300 Ultra has 3 large sensors, yet it doesn't take this much space.
Spec-wise, X500PM will not have larger sensors, so doesn't make sense to compromise on the phone practicality.
I don't usually care about phone design, but this, if true, is one of the ugliest and most ridiculous looking phones of all time. It's like a wasp stung the X300U and caused an allergic reaction.
Remember when computational photography was all the rage and people thought it would cstch up to optical photography?
Chinese were like f@ck it, computational photography sucks, we go all in to optical photography. Eventually the phone part would be a minautrized tine board and everything else would be a camera, lol...
