If half the value of phone's gonna be the camera attached at the back, might as well buy a real camera.

I believe Vivo should stick with the 2nd design on the table. (Elongated, with rounded top & bottom)
1. Allows for circular mounts (which are necessary if you want to rotate an attachment)
2. Holding it sideways is not difficult.
3. Looks unique. (Differentiates Vivo from other generic circular camera phones brands that look the same)

The fix is simple, vivo. Increase the phone thickness to "reduce" the ring height and to make it more proportional, slaps 10000 mAH battery, and that would be a perfect camera phone

For me is too small, for many like me is also too smal... morebigger is not always better. examples: shoes, clothing in general, house, books, kitchen utensils, sports ball (regardless of sport), car, homewares like coasters or pots, etc. list goes on.

I love Vivo but still wtf
Cannot like this oversized lumpy sewer lid-like lenses bulk.
Would not pay so much for such dumb ugliness,
unless it really does something far beyond X300 Ultra to worth burdening. This sure gets me between anticipating but also start worrying for 2027 April's X500 Ultra!

This is actually hilarious. Look. If that's going to happen and if that... Aaaan. Na ahh. I was almost saying that i would even buy THAT if it's going to get a sensor park like an actual camera. But naah. Now this is what i call overkill. If that is AI, fine. But if that's real, well, vivo. Know your place and behave. Even if you are the king and goddess of mobile photography when it comes to sheer quality, definitely not consistency, you are, let me just say NOT allowed:D to do that. Nah-aa. Did you hear me? VIVO is a poser brand. They make camera plateau extra large to show they are "pro" even though other brands, especially OPPO, cramp more hardware into a thinner profile

Do you know what is the real problem with "big bumps" like that?
Is that the camera protrudes in isolation to the phone body, that insists in being flat.
Why not make the whole body curved, like in the past?

GSMArena, use your brain! This is clearly an X500 Ultra prototype, probably with the additional 10x camera they tested some time ago but eventually abandoned for obvious reasons. (4 lesnes are visible)
Also, the phones shown in the video are just dummies.

Same way we carried phones from dark age era means 90s and early 2000s.
There will be always a lot of people with lot of excuses but noone would go to shop and look for a pants with a bit bigger pockets which is much easier option than having excuses over here and over there.
Just my honest opinion.
My pockets are big enough to fit my Motorola edge 50 ultra in a thick leather book case plus all my creditenials like ID, Insurance card, Food ticket card, some coupon cards and like 10 different other cardsAnd every morning i carry my phone to work along with charger and cable in same pocket and in other pocket i carry my work and home keys plus a swiss knife in case of some emergency.

But you should also think about practicality and everyday use, not just for taking pictures. "This thing" would be pretty awkward to use lying down on a table and incredibly awkward to put in and take out of your jeans pocket.
