More than that, the prospect of a future where Samsung happily starts equipping every single model with Exynos is far more depressing. MediaTek, please find a way to expand your market share.
That aside, SoCs in the "Snapdragon 7" class and below—those that lack any standout strengths other than price when compared to competing products—might truly disappear.

Smartphones prices have already gone up and now this will further help in increasing the prices.. Time to delete these AI stuff from the phones? Let's unite everyone?

Very normal, if someone can paid 2K USD for Iphone 2 TB or a Fold 8 Ultra 256 GB. Why not increase the price of CPU too.

Thank to the ppl that :

                  - Spend 3-4h dialy playing stupid games on phones
                  - Ask grok anything that could be searched easily
                  - ask gemini to create memes
                  - ask chatgpt to do their school tasks

SoC that can do on Geekbench 3600/1000 is more than enough on phones

Can anyone tell me why all the companies are raising the prices of their products? (I don't think this has anything to do with artificial intelligence, since even Microsoft raised the price of the Xbox three times in a year.)
