potato4k, 31 Jul 2026Yeah, and how are you going to hold the phone? Totally; I got rid of my OnePlus 12R partially because I couldn't hold the thing without it registering touches on the sides of the screen. Palm rejection is great and all but it'll never work 100% of the time.

Earlier I used to think bezel less phones are the future, but nowadays feel like a small bezel on top and bottom featuring a nice notification led strip and proper front facing speakers will be so good to distinguish from all screen front phones

0 bezel is useful for monitor or TV. For a device which needs to be handheld should have some bezel.

AI claims OnePlus 15 but I find it weird, screen to bo... moreLooking at only screen to body ratio, then the Mi Mix Alpha would win by a lot, even though that still has a quite a bit of bezel on the front, but basically the whole phone is display, other than that a more sensible winner would be the Motorola Edge+ (2020) which has some seriously curved display. Realistically speaking tho, I think screen to body ratio is very misleading, but I'd say the least amount of bezel is likely on the S25 Ultra, Motorola Signature and every recent nubia Z and RedMagic smartphone.

Meanwhile dozens of companies copy iPhones entirely across their entire lineup, including fake dynamic island, wodgets, quick panel, wallpaper, hell even the bloody naming scheme with Pro and Pro Max.
The onoy thing more pathetic than these companies are the people trying to find excuses for them. You should demand creativity, uniqueness and actual different design choices. As a consumer you should demand more. Yet here you are defending and buying cheap iPhone knockoffs.
