potato4k, 16 Jul 2026It might mean that the NAND chips themselves are rated for up to UFS4.0, but the Snapdragon 6s... morewhat I mean is, wouldn't using ufs 3.1 modules be cheaper than to use 4.0 running at 3.1 speeds? might have been a supply issue I guess, or they switched the processor last second maybe.

This is probably the biggest downgrade I've ever seen on any phone compared to previous models. The cameras are not even at a midrange level now. A 1/2.76" main camera that only supports 1080p 30fps video is complete budget phone territory. No ultrawide also. A weak chipset. If costs are just too high then they should have skipped a generation instead of releasing complete and utter junk and further ruining the reputation of the Redmi note series. The Redmi 15pro China version was already a downgrade on the previous model but this is just a gigantic downgrade

That battery takes up 70% of the space inside the phone... I never realized motherboards were getting so small these days.
