oo Ruly oo, 17 Jul 2026One other thing that make vapor chamber tech better than coventional ones to cool electronics ... moreI know vapor chamber does that or any heatpipe for that matter, but they are made of copper for all other heatsinks, because copper has best heat conductivity. If price and weight is concern, aluminium is still superior to stainless steel. It's cheaper, lighter, easier to manipulate in manufacturing and also has higher heat transmission rate. Which is why I don't understand why they are hyping stainless steel as some kind of feature. It's nonsensical for this kind of application.
SShock, 16 Jul 2026Aluminium is more thermally conductive and lighter than stainless steel. Also endlessly cheape... moreOne other thing that make vapor chamber tech better than coventional ones to cool electronics is the presence of liquid inside it. It turnes into vapor when heat touch it then spread. When it finally hits cooler walls then it turnes into water again. This process is repeatitive. Interesting to know how it works though.
oo Ruly oo, 16 Jul 2026Exactly. The weight is going to be issue too.Aluminium is more thermally conductive and lighter than stainless steel. Also endlessly cheaper and easier to mill and form into shape than gooey stainless steel which is very finicky in manufacturing.
Mr Ho, 16 Jul 2026The first time in my life seeing that it is CPU that limits hardware capabilities in an Androi... moreThis specific CPU is built to work only for UFS 3.1 and lower not higher than that. It is like a pro weight lifter who is able to lift max 100 KGS. He can't lift more than that. Hope with this analogy can help to understand the case easily.
Eno2, 16 Jul 2026With such puny cameras, the phone could have been at least designed with a flat back!It works for nubia but not likely for other brands that pursue esthetic.

That for sure the second time I found so far they tried to be generous, in positive way.

It's not very thermally conductive compared to copper or aluminium. Point of vapor chamber is to capture and release heat, not be anti-corrosive inside a sealed phone...
The vapor chamber is one interesting thing I just noticed when I got back read the review. It was made of SS. Is it really the material? thought this from graphene.
The other one is the massive battery. A 9K mah battery. It almost double the 5K mah commonly used by Samsung. That much of power I can call it power bank that will make reverse wired charging feature works more balance.
80085, 16 Jul 2026what I mean is, wouldn't using ufs 3.1 modules be cheaper than to use 4.0 running at 3.1 ... moreIt could’ve been they already have those UFS4 supporting chips purchased before the price increase, so it might cost them less by using those chips instead of buying new ones. Or, maybe the chips used are imperfect ones that wouldn’t be able to run at top UFS4 speed anyway, but still meet UFS3 standard.
Who knows, but apparently Xiaomi did it.

I am trying my best to accept the camera design. Obviously it is not designed to meet my preference. It was a dealbreaker for me when I see the old generation redmi note 14 4g that made me to decide buy Samsung A06 5g instead. Over time now I realised the decision is not right since I failed my self for getting a device with stereo speaker and OLED screen although it didn't have 5G connectivity that is useless in my place. I can not get back to that time and make a switch. So now I just make apologise to my self and promise to not repeat the same mistake again in the future unless good discount and bonus are available. I hope people can learn from this condition as well to prevent unnecessary regret after closing an order.
