I still remember when they're mad against China's surveillance on their residents but now they are emulating it. But with the bonus of being accomplished by scummy personalities.

13 isn't too bad of a minimum, actually. 16 is way worse than 13, and I appreciate that the EU isn't straight-up banning social media for under 13 y/o's. Good choice once again, other than that stupid age verification other governments assumed was "perfect" at the least.

This is very bad, they want you to scan face and upload id to use social media.

And of course the European conservatives, right wing politicians and fascists support it because that’s what they always wanted too

All these false protection just to justify the 1984 project. In reality, every parent can use Parental control from Android or iOS to limit acces to different apps or sites if they really cared about their kids. Instead of teaching people how to use these things, they will make you to sell your ID to different apps or sites

AI image GSMArena, that's a pretty bad move, especially for a tech firm.

And horrible move with the age limits, sucks

Like other illicit drugs, the smartphone should be restricted until you're at least 18 years old.
