It's same like games on PC vs console as playstation and xbox They optimize games on console that have single hardware for like 10 years and then have the games optimized for that hardware. On PC they have like Intel and AMD that have each budget to middle class to top end flagship chips with then RAM that goes from like DDR3/DDR4/DDR5 with different frequencies on clock speeds. Different types of motherboard where some allow user over clock their cpu and so on. With graphics cards from budget to middle to flagship and games come out with minimum requirements.
It's same on Android that have like 6 different cpu chips that go from 100 euro to 2000 euro phones while the games are made to run on 100 euro phones basically.
IOS have like 1 or 2 chips per year and even their 5 years old chip is still more powerful then Android 100 euro phone hardware so it's easier to optimize for the one brand then do it for 100 different brands who all have like 10 different phone models per year.
It's like seriously people in modern day have lost something like common sense of thinking. You are in a tech site but know about tech as much as a toddler

This is a pathetic job. Not including Snapdragon all 8 series chip for at least last 6 years is idiotic. We don't give a shit about last 2 or 3 years chips, include older ones so we can see clearly the progress. Disappointing waste of readers time.

IMHO, anything beyond the 8 Gen 3 is much too overkill for the majority of users. Even the 8 Gen 3 is overkill for some.
