All because you never matter to YouTube.
Thanks but we got better free choices like SmartTube apk and AdBlock, TubeBlock, UBlock for PC. Too bad YouTube must become the Meta way but nevermind not surprised!
YouTube on TV getting unskippable ads.
So you mean like your local TV?
The ones we have since the 1950's (CRT, Vacuum Tube)?
This is tech literally going backwards.
Back to the futu- I mean the past!
Then again, YouTube's CEO is backwards thinking.
Pandering to mainstream media and hollywood rather than creators.
Creators that built the YouTube that it is today.
For those with smart TV and want to have revanced experience, do yourself a favor and search for "github smarttube"

LOL 🤣🤣 those watch YouTube on TV are really doom from the beginning. Lucky me, I don't watch TV or own a TV. The last time I watch TV when I was in my 18's and now I'm way much older. Older enough to be your father 🤣🤣🤣
At some point, the FTC has to step in and do something. Not to mention the Nintendo Switch and other consoles use the TV version. Will those also get unskippable ads?
Get a healthy life watching less TV and do more gym, do not pay more money on TV.
Just get a cheap mini PC and connect it to your TV to have an adblock.
Or run a Pi-hole.
Give us more ads,
we want 5 to 10 mins unskippable ads,
Ads is life who wants to watch shows anymore....
Why not full 30mins of Ads please..
Well there are always bypass or other sites with similar concept like Rumble.
It's like these people should be smart in there but not smart enough to understand that people dont like the ads that just waste time. The worse part is that people have limited data and then that is wasted with the ads
£19.99 per month for Premium and I'm happy to pay that for no adverts. I suppose I'd better start looking for a pirate method of YouTube because I'm definitely not paying for a supposedly 'premium' service with ads when I watch YouTube content on TV.
YouTube initially claimed they'd be showing the longer TV-exclusive ads less frequently than ads on other platforms. It was not the case, at least not for me. The number of app users on a particular platform grows, making you more money, and your immediate response is to exploit your new consumers? Anti-Consumer behavior at its finest...
