Perhaps the future trend will be to use open sensors with external lenses, or to eliminate the wide-angle lens and leave only the periscope and main cameras.
Or the possibility of using 2 periscopes, (one for wide angle range to short range telephoto) (The other one for long range telephoto (or most likely an open sensor with a lens The lens module can be removed and reattached)

I believe the battery will be somewhere between 6500-6700mAh.
I'd rather wait another 2 years to upgrade from my X100 ultra, not because of the battery but maybe the X600 ultra offers a significant upgrade
They will also skip the number 400 because of cultural factors in China.

Just me, 01 Dec 2025You can expect the size of sensors to grow forever, without the phones also growing the bump of a 35mm and 1/1.1 inch sensor is huge and definitely can fit a 1/1.3 zoom sensor like huawei did

Hope they at least pu... moreI hope they stop the artificial skin smoothing they introduced in the x300 series (pro and regular model). I really wanted to get the x300 as the cameras are generally very good and I like the compact form factor but the human subject photos look so weird especially for men as they make them look like they've got make up on. It's completely different than the x200 ultra and x200 pro mini which didn't do this at all. Hopefully, they stop this and go back to their old skin texture processing.

I've got the chinese X100 ultra 2 years ago and i'm totally satisfied! I'll go for the X300 ultra global model, depeding on the battery it'll carry. If it's weaker than that of the chinese model, i'll opt for the chinese!
