Nothing in the wish list about the 1 inch sensor or the 'floating lens' of the X100 Pro. Okay, that is my wish list for the X300 U.
Yeah, I gave up on the 3.5 audio jack.
Battery is a function of the main chip consumption. I hate throttling to 60 some percent as this degrades the "new and faster" CPU back a couple of generations while we are not suppose to notice.
Too early for solid state battery? Toyota's making noises

Mikee, 04 Dec 2025Any overuse of AI could be a bust. This is really annoying on the x300 and x300 pro for human subject photos. I discovered that it happens when auto HDR is on. If you turn off auto hdr in the settings it doesn't do the extreme smoothening and you get relatively normal skin textures. This is annoying though as it basically means you can't take human photos with HDR on without the smoothing. Also you have to go into the settings to turn it off every time you take human subject photos if you don't want the smoothing and the HDR switch is not that easily accessible in the Vivo camera app

Moreover it is not only battery capacity that gives you plenty of screen time. Look at Samsung or iPhone.

Vivo needs to learn from V60e's and Y500 Pro's 200MP to make X300 Ultra perfect, at least needs to be able doing 50MP or 200MP extra Zeiss lens telephoto mode for 400mm to 1600mm focal length range (Or else would be insignificant because not much differently advanced from X200 Ultra)

Owning a X100 ultra, the only reason to search for a successor is 35mm which i personally like and of course the much better wide cam. X300 ultra according to specs won't surpass that much X200 ultra. AI features? I don't care I want my photos as raw as they can get. A xenon flash would be a reason of buying 300 ultra but technology may have progressed but xenon flash, important for low light freezing moments, was never a thought for smartphone companies...
