Are you seriously believing that a18 pro is stronger than a pc processor? Try to narrow down that logic bro. Apple is good but too much glazing is unhealthy, it makes you too narrow minded and blind, unless you're just trolling and baiting.

Throttling on iphone is higher because it reached its peak performances.
Drops to 35fps on honkai are just ridiculous!
And look at temperatures in geekerwan's videos, D9400's are LOWER

D9400 is limited to 60fps by the game, not by the hardware. So you don't see any difference on standards and high demanding scenes...
Without limitation, the game will probably get 75 or 80fps but with some frameratedrops in high demanding scenes...

An other thing you may notice is iphone 16 Pro Max uses the slowest LPDDR5X available...it's 7500...
GPU are high demanding memory Bandwidth part of the soc (NPU is one other).
Find X8 Pro uses 8533, other devices uses 9600, D9400 supports up to 10700

Get your extensive phone with cheap ram, cheap storage, cheap wifi, cheap telephoto, cheap battery, cheap charging tech and believe it's the best !
And in 2 years, get your castrated iOS 27 as Apple Intelligence 2.0 won't work with 8Go like 1.0 don't work on a 1 year old iphone 15

              Isheep!

Different platform benchmark aren't comparable even if the say so.
The are lots of video rendering speed test and real life gaming performance test out there. Help yourself and watch them. The iPhone has always the peak power. Watch Genshin impact test. iPhone throttles because iPhone allows lower thermal limit, not that their GPU ain't powerful. That's just how they do it. Samsung are on the same page.

11% higher pixels count on 16 Pro Max compare to Find X8 Pro means much higher ? Come on !
In your opinion, game looks better on iPhone. Ok, your taste. I can respect.
As I said game was rewriten for metal, effects aren't the same...so you seem to be agree, fine !
Does this mean iphone’s effects are harder to render ? You can't be sure.

The only scientific way to know is to use a tool which will render the EXACT same scene with the EXACT same définition, the EXACT same settings and the EXACT same limitations...
This tool can be for exemple 3DMark...there are 3 links in one post...open them.
Read the results...iphone is behind ! FACTS

D9400 supports up to 10700 even if you will probably find 8533 or 9600 in most devices...

Tons of cheap things in iphone...cheapest and weakest wifi 7, cheap 1/3.06" telephoto, cheap and old lithium battery, cheap and old power delivery charging...screens unable to cover 100% of DCI-P3 color range...16 Pro Max should cost less than 900€

9400 is not only faster, average fps is 59.9, so he is probably limited to 60 by game, not by hardware, but he drains less power.
A18 Pro is weaker, average is 55.5fps with some drops under 50 !

On Honkai Star Rail, it's a murder...9400, average 59.6...A18 Pro, under 50, with many frame drops around 35!

I said T628 was the last time Mali was ahead in both efficiency and performance. DM 9400 came close specially in efficiency but behind in performance.
                          Also, Benchmark isn't everything.

Framerate on A18 Pro is around 50fps on 16 Pro and 55fps on 16 Pro Max (probably due to thermal behavior).

Told you there is like less than 10% chance of massively changing the prime core clock speed if the leak is less than 4 months away from the actual release date.
I think with only 3.23GHz prime core it will fall behind the competition. But if they could take massive advantage in GPU, it could be an overall win, specially in games because games rarely take advantages of single core but definitely be slightly slower in real life tasks.
