Same SOC & main features specs... still using USB 2.0 with no video-out... dropped 1TB edition... $200 price increase.... 🤨
Looks like Moto's strategy for weathering the memory crisis is to avoid selling phones, until memory (RAM/storage) prices come down, so that should do it.
Then in the fall... if memory prices drop back to somewhere near previous norm.... suddenly $400+ discount.... back to selling again, or else wait a generation and hope next year they can sell phones again. Either way slow production to a standstill for now to save money. 🤔 🙃

As they dropped 1TB storage, and it's still stuck on USB 2.0 , gonna be painful if you take a lot of quality photos on this, slow offload, even fast NAS much slower than USB(TB)3/4 DAS/SSD.

Yeah, BT 5.4, usb 2.0 by flagship again and SG 8 Elite in flip flagship its lol, but Price its real a flagship :) Moto go and go down :(
Oh wow. I don't feel bad about getting my Razr Ultra 2025 on sale a few months ago with upgrades as minuscule as this. Motorola has been very light on upgrades this year in general...

Ah yes, last gen flahship for 1300 bucks.
At least the battery is better than the Z flip 7, but better be, you can buy 2 flip 7 for the same $$.
Totally not worth it IMO. At this price should have a optimized 8 Elite Gen 5 or Dimensity 9500 (yes fanboys, the Dimensity 9500 IS faster than last gen's 8 elite) and a SiC battery with at least 5500/6000 mah
