Motorola Razr Fold is official, gets an 8.09-inch foldable display

Motorola unveiled its first book-style foldable phone, the Razr Fold, at CES 2026. The device will be available in two color options.

The Razr Fold features an 8.09-inch LTPO inner display with 2K resolution, paired with a 6.56-inch outer screen.

It sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP Sony LYTIA main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom, with support for Dolby Vision recording. For selfies, it includes a 32MP camera on the cover display and a 20MP camera on the inner screen.

When it goes on sale, the foldable will be available in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White color options.


The foldable also brings AI features like Catch Me Up and Next Move, and supports the Moto Pen Ultra stylus. Motorola did not reveal any other specifications of the Razr Fold.

Pricing, availability details, and complete specs for the Razr Fold will be revealed at a later date.

I'm truly sorry to disappoint you, but I don't have to use either of these phones to know that the significantly larger (4 times the surface area), newer and higher resolution periscope sensor is better than a basic telephoto from years ago...
