iPhone Air 2 rumored to pack a slightly larger battery
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone Air 2 alongside the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e in early 2027. While the handset has already been rumored to feature a dual rear camera setup and improved battery life, a new leak now sheds light on its battery capacity.
The leak claims the iPhone Air 2 could pack a battery with a capacity of 3,500mAh or more. While that may not seem particularly large by today's standards, it would be an upgrade over the 3,149mAh battery in the original iPhone Air.
The iPhone Air 2 is also rumored to feature a 6.55-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by Apple's upcoming 2nm A20 Pro chipset.
It is said to sport a dual rear camera setup comprising a 48MP primary sensor and an ultrawide camera.

Apparently as late as may the Air sold 700k units, by now it might have just about reached 1 million. It's one of the lowest volume iPhones Apple has made for a while, and is blatantly aimed at people who will never tax the thing even once so it...

maybe you could say something like.. "but samsung galaxy s25 edge managed to get 3900mAh with the same li-ion battery tech which rated (minimum) capacity was 3786mAh, so the new iphone air 2 should at least match that 37xx mark of samsung...
